Your data, plainly.
Where it sits, who can see it, and how you take it with you.
Last reviewed 28 Oct 2026.
- Who owns the data
- Your school does, and decides who sees what. It is the data controller and Aircraftly the processor (see our privacy notice).
- Where it's hosted
- In India, on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Mumbai, with every connection over HTTPS.
- Separation between schools
- Each school has its own database schema, or its own database if it prefers.
- Who can see it
- Only what each person's role allows, through one secure sign-in. Aircraftly staff cannot sign in as your people; that is switched off on the live system.
- What is recorded
- AirDoc logs every upload, view, download, move, share and deletion, and who did it.
- If you leave
- Your administrator can ask for an export at any time.
- Everything else
- Backups, restore tests, breach notice, retention: send your questionnaire and we answer in writing, with dates, before you sign.
